Jennifer Neales has been acting around the world for over 20 years and is the Founder, Co-Artistic Producer and Co-Artistic Director of HERstory Counts. Some of her selected theatre credits include: Tina in the Off-Broadway Musical “Ruthless”; Jennie Malone in “Chapter Two”, touring in Japan; Roberta in “Love and Human Extinction” (Fringe Festival’s Best Actor 2009); a lead in Trey Anthony’s “I am NOT a Dinner Mint”; Evelyn in “The Shape of Things” (2012 Fringe Festival’s Best of Fringe – Toronto Centre for the Performing Arts), and acting and touring with Trey Anthony Productions as Suzy in “’da Kink in My Hair” in New York City, North Carolina, Texas, the Northwest Territories, Ottawa, Mississauga and Toronto. Her selected film credits include: Vi in Stormcloud (InsideOut Film Festival – International Tour); Amanda in “Did You Hear Jake and Courtney Broke Up?”; Maggie in Waack Revolt (InsideOut Film Festival short film winner, 2014) and Vanessa in Allie has an Affair. Jennifer is now and always writing her own one-womyn show “The Invisible Bride’s Maid”.
Evangelia Kambites
Co-Artistic Producer and Co-Artistic Director
Evangelia Kambites is a singer, actor, dancer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, writer, and Co-Artistic Producer and Co-Artistic Director of HERstory Counts. She is a graduate of the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts, and holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours in Music and Drama from Queen’s University. Jenna Borsato
Co-Artistic Producer and Production Manager
Jenna Borsato is a third year student in Ryerson Theatre School’s Performance Production Program. Jenna is just as passionate about the production elements of a show as she is about the performance elements. In previous years she has studied improv, commedia dell’arte and musical theatre in Mayfield Secondary’s Regional Arts Program. Theatre credits include: Production Intern, Canadian Stage; Stage Manager & Assistant Producer, HERstory Counts 2016; Marketing & Social Media Manager, Ryerson Theatre School 2016 Season; Stage Manager– Clown, Ryerson Theatre School; Production Assistant- Spring Awakening, Ryerson Theatre School; Production Assistant- Hamlet; Ryerson Theatre School; Director- Waldeinsamkeit, Mayfield S.S; Stage Manager- Grease, Mayfield S.S; Emma – Twitch, Mayfield S.S. It has been of goal of Jenna’s to provide a platform for under-appreciated voices in the Theatre community and she is honoured to be able to do so with this company.
